The Secret Connection of Algorithms and Alcohol
Alcohol is named after the fixed star Algol also known as the demon star. Algol carries themes of violence, misfortune and malevolent energy. Because it is associated with the myth of Medusa, it is linked to themes of headlessness and chaos.
The word alcohol has arabic origins. there are disputes that the Arabic word al-gawl, meaning spirit or demon is the origin of the word alcohol - but if we utilize common sense, we can aptly link the word alcohol to the Arabic meaning of spirit/demon.
Why? The answer is plain as day. Those who consume large quantities of alcohol are known to "black out" lose control over any rational ability and often behave in ways that go against the sober thinking mind additionally, alcohol is historically referred to as Spirits making this connotation in etymology and definition no coincidence.

Algol - 8♣️
The A♠️ is a very prominent card that indicates death/rebirth. It's also the card of ambition, secrets, mystery and the occult. Alcohol in this way can be seen as a mysterious substance that can temporarily cause the "death" of the logical mind and "rebirth" of the/a Spirit in a physical vessel. It is supported by the 3♦️ - creative values. Imbibing on alcohol in excess can cause one to be creative in values. Likely values that he/she would not normally uphold.
The 8♣️ is one of the three fixed card. It is a power card. 8 is a transformative number that is a cycle of power indicated by its upright infinity symbol. Coupled with a club that regulates mental realm and related themes, together we have a potent card. It's supported by Jack of Spades - The actor, thief, initiation into higher or lower lifestyles. What I found interesting about the eight of clubs is its hidden power. The three of spades. The three of spades is known as the card of spiritual possession. The 3♠️ is also the name card for the word Drunk.
Alcohol may seem benign on the surface that may give one "liquid courage" but it also gives way to a hidden secretive or powerful spiritual possession through drunkenness.
On the grand solar spread the A♠️ (alcohol) is Venus to the 8♣️ (Algol). When a card is Venus to something, it indicates a relationship or connection to that card and because Venus is an earth sign that influences values, it is an energy that manifests into reality on earth.
Algol the fixed star (that carries the energy of a fixed power card) is traditionally associated with the late degrees of Taurus. Usually around 26 degrees. Interestingly 2+6=8 in numerological terms. Taurus is a fixed earth sign ruled by Venus that conveys values of the spiritual and physical realms.
What does this tell us?
The energy of Algol is manifested with Alcohol and intensified through the sensual Taurus energy. Through the number 8, it suggests that Algol is an influence with power, authority and ambition.
Because it is set in an earth sign- the energy of Algol is grounded on earth.

The Algol algorithm was one of the earliest algorithms created for computer programming, and it helped lay the foundation for many modern programming languages, like C and Java. Think of it as one of the first "recipes" written for computers to follow. It was designed to be simple, logical, and clear, much like a well-written set of cooking instructions.
Algorithm stems from the word arithmetic/algebra - which means reunion of broken parts. There are a lot of energetic and spiritual connotations and interpretations that come with the meaning of algorithm and its connection to Algol, the demon star makes these potential connotations sinister.

Algorithms - 5♠️ - carry transformative elements that manifest itself in reality. Spades are the Manifestors of the four suits. Algorithm (Q♣️) - singular - the contraction of Algol - crowns Algorithms (5♠️) plural.
The transformation card of Computer 7♦️ is 8♣️ - Algol.
Algol the star is connected to themes of headlessness because of Medusa and her beheading by Perseus - the queen of clubs, the head of medusa, the broken part, is reunified with her body (algorithms) to cause chaos in the earthly realm.
We see this to be true as algorithms are often used to control narratives, reinforce stereotypes, bias and discriminations of those who create algorithms. These narratives have huge implications on society at large inspiring violent behavior at times.
What to do with this information? Knowledge is power. You are a living, earthly portal with the power to deny and decline access to any energy that does not serve your or society's higher good. You have the choice to transmute, reassess, evaluate any information that does not sit well with your Spirit and you have the power to align with your higher self as a protective stance against harmful narratives and spirits.
